Can I return opened cosmetics?

Opened, unsealed, or used cosmetic products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. This does not affect your rights if the product is damaged, faulty, incorrect, unsafe, or not as described.

Why opened cosmetics cannot be returned

Cosmetic products are personal-use hygiene products.

Once a cosmetic product has been opened, unsealed, or used, we cannot accept it back as a return. This helps us make sure every customer receives a new and unused product.

For hygiene and safety reasons, returned opened cosmetics cannot be resold or sent to another customer.

Products that cannot be returned once opened

The following items cannot be returned unless they are damaged, faulty, incorrect, unsafe, or not as described:

  • opened cosmetic products

  • products with broken hygiene seals

  • used cosmetic tools or applicators

  • products that show signs of use

What if I only tried the product once?

Even if the product was only tested once, it is still considered opened or used.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept it as a standard return once the seal or packaging has been opened.

What if the product is damaged, faulty, or incorrect?

If your product arrived damaged, is faulty, incorrect, unsafe, or not as described, please contact us. These situations are reviewed separately and are not treated as a standard change-of-mind return.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • the product name

  • clear photos of the product

  • clear photos of the packaging

  • the batch number, if available

  • a short description of the issue

Once we review the information, we will help with the appropriate next step. Depending on the situation, this may include a replacement, refund, store credit, or another remedy required by law.

What if I am not satisfied with the product?

Some Meroda products may be covered by our Product Satisfaction Guarantee.

This guarantee is separate from your legal rights and may apply to selected products if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

To review your request, we may ask for:

  • proof of purchase

  • an explanation of the issue

  • supporting photos or information
